It is possible that opensubs is just not logging the errors since we saw all those failures to other sites in the previous log.  Also, there is still a file access error in the installation as it looks like the system cannot get to part of the dashboard.

If you refresh metadata on an item, does it work properly?

I have no problem refreshing any of the movie metadata, only EMBY comes with subtitles that appear unsearchable.

I did test with your credentials on a few movies and get back both English and simplified Chinese subs so it's not account related.

@Luke any ideas how to troubleshoot this as it looks by the logs that requests are going through but not enough logging to know what it found.

The same movies, both with OpenSubtitles search results, one with and one without.
The screenshot below shows the EMBY APP (search for subtitles fails) and the infuse APP (search for subtitles succeeds).

I know I can find subtitles correctly with infuse's OpenSubtitles. (The subtitles found by infuse are not downloaded directly into the movie, so I don't use infuse) I need to use the subtitle search function of OpenSubtitles that comes with EMBY. I was hoping you could help me figure out why.

Have you tried to uninstall and then reinstall Emby Server?
You have a couple of internal Emby Server errors in your log that this could fix possibly with different results for opensubs as well.

I have not tried uninstalling Emby Server to reinstall it. I'll try it.

I am really very sorry, I have reinstalled it, but it failed just the same. I have uploaded the logs, or I will give you the ID password to log into my EMBY account and try?  I'm on the public network here and you can log into my EMBY media library.

Sorry, I just saw your message now, I am always ready to accept remote sessions on my side, may I ask which remote software you need to use for assistance? Can I download AnyDesk right away?

Just finished a remote session with @Joechung and we got the open subtitle problem solved.

It appears it was a bad password as we tried my login credentials and it worked so then retyped OPs credentials and it now works.

We had a hard time getting started however as AnyDesk, TeamViewer and Sunflower remote apps would not connect.  Had him reboot router and PC and then could connect.

After I use the subtitles, I still can't find the subtitles, then I delete the password and log in again, then I can search again, I think it's the problem of saving your account and password in the background, I hope the subsequent version can update the subtitles bug

I don't believe there is a bug, but keep in mind you have a daily limit with open subtitles.
