Dear Luke, I have a problem with various series and films. When there is dual audio available (english and german), sometimes it starts with english instead of german although it is set as favourite language in settings. When trying the same with emby on android, it starts the german language. Could you have a look, why emby on FireTV doesn't. It is reproduceable.

I have installed emby (3.0.5781.5) on a fedora 22 server. So far it works great and I am thankful for this piece of free software. One things bugs me though - I have various movies that feature multiple audio tracks (different languages). Using a standalone player like vlc or mplayer, I can switch the audio track with no problem. However, with emby I cannot influence the audio track played. I have tried to set the default audio language, removed the "Play default audio track regardless of language" tick, and also tried choosing the audio language from the drop down menue within the movie displaying the available audio tracks. Nothing helped. Also, the played language is not consistently the same - I guess that has to do with the track ordering within the movie. Did I miss anything? How can I get this to work?

Ever since updating to the latest Emby server version, MKVs do not default to the specified audio language track (English). There is no option in the web client to select language track in MKVs like there used to be (a button in the top-right corner next to the bitrate list). I don't know what information is relevant here: I'm running Emby server Version 3.0.5768.7 on my home server and attempting to watch videos over the internet in Chrome browser. Video files in question are MKVs with multiple language tracks. The web client worked exactly as I expect before updating to latest version. When I was running an older version (3.0.56xx.x, don't remember precisely) MKVs would automatically play the English language track and in the web client there were controls to select audio and subtitle tracks. In a perfect world, the server and web client would work as they did before; audio language successfully defaults to English, but I still have the option when playing a video to manually change the audio track or subtitles. Thanks in advance for any advice. server-63581712143.zip
