ok false alarm, there was major issue in my unraid setup prevent the creation of metadata.

Hi, I have seen related questions in past topics but it's unclear to me... how do I force re-creating metadata after losing my metadata folder content? I used the the `Refresh Metadata` option and used `Replaced all metadata` mode, but cannot see artwork appear in my movie library.. I can see in the server log that it's still looking for missing files. Do I have to fully re-created my library ? Tx

EDIT: My main user/admin just started working again out of nowhere. So... ??? but at least I have admin access again. Original corrupted user is still not working. So I'm running 4.8.11.0 on Linux. One of my heavier users hit me up saying they had been logged out, and when they tired to log back in, it gave an error about "wrong userid or password". I reset their password for them, and they got the same thing. I then tried logging into their account myself locally. Got the same thing. For giggles, I clicked on the "forgot password" box (even though I had been resetting it in the admin interface), and it gave me a path on my server to find a .txt file with instructions. Followed that, entered in the URL it gave , and the pin it gave me. Said the user didn't exist. But the USER does exist in the users tab of the server admin menu. And shows up as a user on the login menu. While I was in there messing with users, I changed something in MY user (so it would show up in the user list when connecting remotely, I had turned that off years ago, but decided it didn't really add any safety as I have so many users) and now I'm getting the same thing he's getting. And biggest problem, MY account is the ONLY admin account. So ATM I'm locked out of server settings on my computer (for now, I'm still logged in on Android so can admin there). I can't seem to copy my logs from Termius to paste in the browser, but here is a screenshot of the errors MY account is now getting after changing one setting that had nothing to do with passwords, honestly, all I changed was the "shows on remote connection" setting. Seems on my other user, even changing the password to something I 100% know (as I just set it) still throws the "Password not correct" error as seen in the first line of that screenshot. I haven't tried resetting the password on MY user yet, as it didn't work on his account so I don't expect it will work on mine. All my other users (about 5 active ATM) are fine so far. They can log in, and I can log is as them. But nothing has been updated/changed on their users. Don't want to break anyone so not touching them. Any ideas? I do have a backup I can restore from this morning, when I was at least working. But I'm afraid it might kick me out of Android, and if I can't get back in after I'd have no admin access to my server anyore.

Ok, the quest to sync *arr tags to Emby continues. It looks like to update tags, I will be using the ItemUpdateService, so far so good. Within the schema, I see: Tags [string] If I pull an item with a tag as an example, it looks like: TagItems : {@{Name=SyncTagTest; Id=1349589}} I'm assuming these are referring to the same thing, TagItems is clearly what I want to edit, so partly verifying Tags is the correct field to update via the ItemUpdateService? I've also got questions on the format I need to submit in: Are the tags submitted by the ID? If this is the case it probably negates needing to answer most of the other questions besides how to submit multiple tags if I were to add SyncTagTest to another movie, that would I set the string to in Tags? Is Emby going to match the existing tag? How do I submit multiple tags? Is it a comma separated list? Do I need the Tag ID as well? If I do need the Tag ID (I'm assuing Id=1349589 in my example is the ID of the tag itself) does that mean the tag has to be created first, separately before I can assign it? If they are dynamically created, to I have to be careful with case-sensitivity? (I will be anyway, but just in case, I would like to know what happens if I mess case up somewhere) I think that's all I've got for now. I'm just realzing I might have to actually write a whole bit to get the existing tags first if it's all done by ID. Thanks!

Had the same issue of Microstutter/Judder for months on the new android app using both Shield and Google TV Streamer. No stutter on the old Android TV App, so seems isolated to the new app only. Few people complaining of the same on Reddit also Can confirm only an issue for 4K HDR/DV content. 1080p content has no stutter

That damn f.ing version number.. I did all that work on the wrong version again.. Deleted that now! Some quick copy and paste of the icon size stuff and it should work now. EmbyIcons.dll

I'm a dumbfuck, I forgot to restart Emby Server after downloading your next-to-last dll. Nevertheless with both last dlls tag icons are not inserted into the image. Do you need a log? But the icons I see now are not distorted anymore and have the exact aspect ratio as the source pngs. So it seems you're on a good way. Now: Before:

The NFO does not actually reference the file directly, it's more that it gets associated to the video file based on the name. So if you replace the webm with an equivalently named mp4 it will just update the NFO.

As a second follow-up, this also happens when switching apps, for example if someone accidentally hits the Netflix button on the TV remote or if you want to quickly check something on YouTube … I’ve had to find my spot in Lord of the Rings while watching with my kids three times in the past hour because of the way the interface works, something I never had with Plex. I’d love to know how to permanently disable this dialog box and how to mark where the file was watched until so that I don’t keep hitting this issue every single time we watch something. Please. Thank you.
