adreader51 4 Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Current Issue: In the current version of the Emby mobile app, media libraries are displayed in a horizontal scroll format. With around 10 media libraries, this requires quite a bit of scrolling to navigate through all of them, which can be cumbersome. Proposed Solution: I propose a redesign of the media library display to a grid tile format. Specifically:Display media libraries in a grid with two tiles wide and three tiles tall.Users with more than six media libraries can scroll vertically to view the additional libraries. 4
Luke 40137 Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Hi, yes this topic has come up before, and more options to control this are certainly possible in future updates. Thanks for the feedback.
tommat 1 Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 I'll second this request. I have a very granular library setup, with 60 of them, and the 60 column 1 row TV display is less than satisfactory. When I log in to Emby from my PC I get a splendid 6 column 10 row grid. So the capability is there - it (just??) needs to be ported to the TV screen. Just for info, my setup is Emby server on PC, Emby client on Nvidia Shield TV Pro (but the same problem occurs when Emby client and server are both on an Nvidia Shield TV Pro) 1
learch74 4 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I'll vote for this as well. It is the one thing I'd like to see most in the app.

Thanks for the feedback. Hi @Luke, I noticed that it’s been a year since the above was posted, and I was curious if there’s any update on this at all. It feels like there’s a lot of wasted real estate, especially when using it on a TV, and having to scroll right all the time just to get to my various media feels unintuitive. It’s also a bit odd that I’m finding posts from 2018-ish that mention being able to swap between vertical and horizontal layouts, which I’m not sure are the same thing? I’m a new premium member and really enjoying a lot of aspects of the setup, but finding it painful to navigate this one aspect of an otherwise great system. Is this something actively being worked on?

vdb86 3 Posted July 9 Posted July 9 We could also have a custom option added in which we can select specific libraries that will be shows for that home screen section line. Example: Let's say I have 6 libraries right now. On my android phone I can see only 2 and need to scroll horizontally to see others. My suggestion would allow users to do this: Home screen section 1: Library 1 Library 2 Home screen section 2: Library 3 Library 4 Home screen section 3: Library 5 Library 6 So all 6 would be visible on the homescreen without any need for scrolling. 1
