Hello, How can i install skin Embuary and then update it form the last 4K skins in this forum ? I've never installed skin Embuary on Kodi so there is no Embuary addon folder Thanks for your help

This appears to me as if all of them would be tone-mapped, because non-tonemapped would normally rather have less contrast than the Reinhhardt tone mapping. Let's maybe use some commonly known video like "sony food fizzle 4kmedia" (google). Unfortunately, tone mapping is not something like a defined and predictive procedure. For the mentioned video, here's a comparison: Left top and center bottom: Not tone mapped (classic windows media player and MPC HC) Center top and right bottom: tone mapped in two different ways (VLC and MPV) Right top: Probably bug, causing over-exposure (Windows Media Player)

The image files themselves are not deleted from the PC. They are just removed from the emby tv show. I had saved it, even several times. As I said, it worked after restarting the FV+ PC. I just assume that the new version used the configuration from the old one. I should also have deleted FV under Appdata/Roaming. The icons are now also much more visible - great.

Use Kodi settings "Basic" or "Standard" (default) and you will see, there are only very low options to adjust. In "Advanced" or "Expert" mode, yes, there are lot's of options. Usually the basic settings are what you need and actually, the default settings are quite good for all setups. Not sure what's the issue. Connect to server, sync content, done. The Wizard will guide you, pretty simple. Backgrounds (Fanarts in Kodi terms, Backdrops in Emby's terms) depends on skin you use. Not sure if the default Kodi skin shows "backgrounds". What you mean with covers.

@JBou- Thanks for running all the tests! Do you see the "Object reference not set.." messages when you don't enable image extraction on the results? (running the first 5 tests only should suffice to check) Generally, you can exclude tests for "hardware subtitle overlay" and "hardware tone mapping" because this isn't supported for AMD GPUs yet Posting the .etra files is sufficient (these are zips including the .etrd file anyway) Please do not rename the etra files (then they don't work in our analysis tool) Thanks!

Hi all, I want to realize a central media server using emby and kodi as player. I have an Nvidia Shield and two Fire Sticks 4 k. The fire TV sticks have limited storage. The idea is now to have all the media meta data stored on a central environment and using Kodi just as a player. I did my first tests with now with the plugin but I did not understand how it should work?! I run emby server on a raspberry PI. All media meta data is stored on the raspberry. For movies and series all media was scraped and stored on the raspberry by activating the option that media is stored on the server. So far so good. In the emby app and via web browser everything is fine and meta data is loaded immediately. In kodi everything is getting complicated. First there a tons of options. After some time i could access to the server. but the worse thing is that many meta dat pictures like covers and backgrounds are not displayed. I would expect that they are loaded from my central server?! Ho to configure this? Is there a guide available? Thanks and greetings JuRo

Well that was a quick reply! I glad I posted! Need to Save Settings, but should come and go with selection/deselection (provided Save Settings) and does on my testing. Probably you didn’t save it first time? Anyway - glad its all going well now! The time is in the Other settings page - not the Now Playing settings page…

I generally don't create libraries after having created the users because I faced some issues with that a year or so back. Since then, I always create all the required libraries first and then the users and I haven't noticed any issues with that even as recent as last week.

I have just installed it, but the remaining time is not displayed despite activation. Do I have to change something somewhere? I also can't find anywhere where I can deactivate the time Edit: After restarting the Frontview computer it is there. This probably only works with an absolute clean install. I LOVE IT!!!

This thread should have been moved into the ORIGINAL request from 2017 to get search finally fixed. My opinion on search is EVERYTHING except media should excluded from it, and items like actors, info, etc... should have to be added to the search options under settings for those that want them.

Hy @quickmic When i turn on in section interface the point "Show options in plugin menu", is this not working.I go on the "main home screen" to the point "Addons", no matter what lower category i select, Video addons, Music-addons or Picture-addons, when i go inside und want... for example manage libraries, then nothing happens. Kodi 21.0 final with Coreelec on Odroid N2, tested with Skins Aeon MQ8 and standard Estuary. Hi Try version 351 just added now, in github Adds Disable Clock Add selection option from Remaining time instead of duration, 2nd option of End Time - time that program will end (pretty straight forward) Likely not suit time resolution screens. The Time size scaler affects this as well. Save Settings prior to options being visible & Re -adds the colour Icons - which may have gone with a version back, Few other minor fixes. Took a while, code is old … not sure up to many more updates/changes.. But here is this….

I removed the info as the last resort would be manually elevating a user to admin. So technically as long as you have a user that can log in you have a way forward.

It works now, but i had to remove the space in "Pierre " to "Pierre" then i logged in straight away. I really appreciate all help i got! I have a quite large collection of media about 16TB so it would take days to start over from scratch. My theory is that i had two accounts, one "Pierre " and the other that is used "Pierre" was removed some way. From now on i defiantly have more than one admin account. Anyway it work fine and all latest statistiks like watched movies are intact, Thanks again.
