Not sure I follow minus a cache issue as by default Album with no image will use Artist image. Applying Album image within Emby Changed again @Lukeis the hidden "ShareEmbeddedMusicAlbumImages" option a factor here? As my tests where with it set to true per new default. But technically I have all of this done before Emby ever sees music as all tagging and image are gotten via mp3tag or Picard so Emby doesn't really have to do anything.

Some artwork for Movies and TV Shows not showing up . I get a picture of a folder. If I go into the folder some of the episodes have pictures from the show. Some of the art work I do get has poor resolution. here's a picture of what i'm getting. Any thoughts

Yess you are right i try on phone android and the search in categories run ok, so i install on my NVidia Shield Pro Emby Androd and also in this app the search also in categories run well. So the problem is Emby for Android Tv !? Thank again Hispa

Here's what happens when I open up the Emby app on my streaming box. I am presented with a screen that tells me to enter the displayed 5-digit PIN on the emby.media/pin website. I enter the email address that was used to sign up with Emby and enter a password and the displayed PIN. I hit SUBMIT and it says the PIN is confirmed. I have not actually logged into the emby.media site at this point since I have no idea what the actual password is. I select NEXT on the TV and I have the option to Select a user of which there is only one and that is me. The other options displayed are as follows: Enter user manually - I am asked to enter my name followed by a password. It's the same as if I selected the user except all I am asked for is the password in that option. Sign in with Connect - this is the same as the initial screen with instructions to enter the displayed 5-digit PIN at emby.media/pin Switch server - there is only one server to select Send Logs - I selected this so you should be receiving a copy of my log file, not that it will do you much good. My issue is not being able to change my password to access the Emby server in unRAID. If I select Forgot Password on the emby.media/pin web page it asks for my email address associated with the account and then performs the Captcha security check (when will sites stop using this piece of crap since most of the time the images are so grainy I can't make them out). I click on RECOVER PASSWORD and I am sent a link to reset my password. I click on the link and enter a new password twice. When I login after resetting the password it takes me to the emby.media forums which I am already able to do that is not the password that I need to reset. I have already described what happens when I try to connect directly to the Emby server from my PC. It downloads the file to the binhex-emby folder on the unRAID server with the link to a site with a PIN to reset my password but it never allows me to connect and always times out.

Hallo zusammen, ich bin noch recht neu im Emby Bereich und habe mein Problem hier im VirtualTV Plugin Thread bereits versucht auf englisch zu schildern, aber ich glaube, dass Problem lässt sich besser lösen, wenn ich in meiner Muttersprache schreibe ich verstehe bzw. finde den Fehler nicht, wieso mein Stream meines Kanals, den ich über das Virtual TV Plugin angelegt habe, einfach nicht startet. Ich habe zb. auch schon mit dem PseudoTV Plugin experimentiert und dort läuft es komischerweise sofort, obwohl das die Videofiles aus dem selber Ordner zieht, wie VirtualTV. Gibt es noch irgendeine andere Einstellung, die man verändern kann/muss, damit es läuft ? Danke schonmal für eure Hilfe 20240517_202143.mp4

Yes, Emby will play my TV recording now a and the transcoding settings have been fixed. I have other problems with playing recording like progress bar does not traveling across as the recording plays it stays at zero and if I try to jump ahead it starts over again at the beginning. So if I am at 10 minutes and I jump ahead the recording returns back to zero and plays from there. But I should probably start a new thread for this problem.

Hi. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.

If you mean Emby locking it down, we are just doing what is necessary to avoid app crashes. Roku devices are extremely underpowered compared to Android TV devices or Apple TV.

But OP is getting "TooManyRequests" like lots of other users. Personally don't get this error though but really only test with search. If user has not already switched would they get that error?

There is no option for that in the Roku app but, if the item doesn't have a logo, then it will fall back to the poster.
