I don't entirely follow what do you mean left panel but no there is safe mode that disables css. But in a browser you can use the browser debug console to temporally enable/disable any css you like until you refresh the page. Did you remove access via user icon also? or navigate directly to the url as css does not restrict it only hides. http://localhost:8096/web/index.html#!/dashboard

this looks related to device access restrictions, not login lockout related. Try granting that user access to all devices and see if that helps.

I am having issues with TrueNAS Scale hosting a misbehaving Emby docker. in the forums here it's post name is "Unable to reinstall Emby on TrueNAS Scale" Basically I don't know how to get back to a fresh install of Emby. I stopped the service deleted the docker through the TrueNAS interface for apps then checked if the storage for that app was deleted. After all that I added the app through TrueNAS charts like I have before, but can't access it from ports 8096 or 8920 even after I set it up through 9096.

So I've migrated my emby server to a better machine which I could finally install a P2200 in. I'm running ESXi 8.0.2 and the emby server is on a Windows 2022 Server VM. The GPU is passed through and drivers installed on the OS. The GPU works fine in the VM. When I play a 4k movie that is direct play but not the audio it still populates a newly created folder in the transcoding-temp folder with a m3u8 and .ts files. Web will show: So it's not using the GPU which is fine as it's not video. However, if I try and change the stream to 1080p it will timeout. It will just keep creating and removing folders inside the temp then say there is no available stream. You can see the Video Decode on the machine blips each time it tries this Emby Hardware encoding detects the GPU Logs for the transcode doesn't show any errors that I can tell ffmpeg-transcode-2fa1e140-9b2f-4343-9ffe-7e3c2174ab73_1.txt

Each phone is user specific and could be set to trigger a tailored API call using the NFC tag ID to identify the specific TV and the phone owner for the userID. It would be quite bespoke since every phone would need a user specific setup but there are not that many people in my household and once setup it should work forever with much alternation if any. The high level is a user could switch the tv to their profile just by waving their phone in front of it. There is an elegance and coolness to doing it this way but agree fundamentally its no different to doing it "long hand".

I can't access it externally from ports 8096 or 8920, which I want to do to try to get 8920 https working. it is hard to tell if the certificate took after this last reinstall, because I can't reach it on the https port 8920, but I can reach it externally from port 9096. embyserver (1).txt edit: All of this except the https worked before I locked myself out of it, and had to do a reinstall of the emby docker.

Not admin center, just in the settings in the Emby Server where you add folder/files. I give up, I've explained this 3 times and provided pics. I don't know how else to explain or what information to provide so you understand. Before server upgrade to latest version: Layout was 1000% fine and exactly how I wanted it. After server upgrade to latest version: Layout is now 1 row of movies and not how I like it. <-- Obviously the latest update did this. I'll just see if I can find the previous version of Emby server and reinstall it to get the layout back the way I liked it and turn off automatic server updates.

Don't group just show a list of songs another base view Table or list Group them by some unique category: That Shows off all the UI. What is Admin Center? And what did you create as a "movie file type"? "Collections" in Emby are not a representation of your folder structure. They are generated from metadata (from tmdb) or manually created via the "Add to collection" menu.

Sure. I could see being able to trigger the request to change and you'd probably need the actual userID and it would still have to flow through normal auth in the app. So, it would just behave as if someone selected the new user from the switch user menu.

I've removed the server from Emby connect, but am unable to re-add it (error message below). If I pop the URL that I'm trying to add to Emby connect directly into a browser, I am able to login to the Emby server. I just can't add it via Connect

Thanks for the information it saves me many hours of wasted effort. Do you think it would be appropriate to make a feature request for this? What I am imagining is a simple NFC sticker at each TV which I could trigger a profile change simply with a users phone tap. Feels like a nice QoL thing for low cost and is easy to do if the API supported it.

Admin Center under folders I created Blu-Ray Sets as a movie file type. This is where I have all the folders of movie sets and some have subfolders. When you click on the Blu-Rays sets icon on the home page and then click collections at the top and it will show me all the folders I created inside my blu-ray sets folder. The "collections" group thing that Emby creates I do not have this listed on my home page. However, inside that "collections" icon if I do add it to the home page are all the collection folders, BUT when I go into Super Hero it still shows as below.

This is not life threatening - just inconvenient. Let me know when there is a beta update and we'll start again.
