I deploy my emby server in a docker container. After I input the Emby premiere in the server settings, it works fine for a while. But after some time or when I reboot the server, the premiere subscription is gone. And when I visit the premiere setting page, I can see the key is there but the page is always kept loading. The only workaround is I need to clear the key, click save then input the key and save again. It is pretty annoying that I need to reenter the key again and again. My emby version 4.8.5, I also tried to upgrade to 4.9.16 but it didn't help. Anyone know how to fix this, thanks.

I’m not too sure, is there a way to have the metada data download again? Also how can I re run the chapter images? It doesn’t seem to do them again if it thinks it already did it. But some are just black

Agree, this would be embedded in the title tracks of the file. If you open the file in something like MVKToolNix, you will see the "Name" field populated as below: Or in the MediaInfo screen you were on, select 'View' and go to 'Tree':

I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to taxes, subsidies, business codes, etc. in dealing with multi-national sources of income for an LLC, however just from a basic business standpoint the question remains about how much opportunity cost there is in ignoring markets where competitive services charge less for whatever reason (market pressure, currency weakness, etc), and whether there's adequate room for profit even if the margins are slimmer. Personally, and especially if there are payment services that can easily manage this, I would be happy for any added revenue stream. If the powers that be want to charge less in developing markets, then as an end-user I'm happy for anything that can fund further development of a product I've used (and ceased paying for due to my lifetime subscription) and enjoyed for many years.

What is changing the file? It might not me Emby Server changing the file, but rather, Emby Server is showing the file that's been changed by something else. Do you have other software that downloads videos or images?

Try running the refresh guide scheduled task. As for the original issue, maybe apple backup/time machine messed with it? the missing channel logos suggests that the server metadata folder was tampered with.

So it was my Fire Stick Max 4k, I bought a 1GB dongle ethernet and all was fixed.

Not sure if this is the best section for this, but here goes: Trying to cast emby from the android app to chromecast, but it just doesn't seem to work. I'm able to cast to a sony tv with chromecast built in (and the full android tv system on it) without issue. I have two other tvs that are just using a chromecast dongle (one gen 3 and one is modern) and the emby logo appears, but no backdrop image appears. When trying to cast a video and there's no backdrop, I always get a spinning circle on the tv and the video never plays. I have very rarely been lucky in getting it to play, when I do, I do notice it's right after the backdrop loads. Usually, if it does load I only get to watch one video as the next will fail to play. I'm on the latest emby server and app version, I've tried factory resetting the chromecast twice.

Same everything, the backup restored most things but certain things are missing like live tv channel images and chapter thumbnail images are all black. Very odd
