Enable smb3 on your Shield by checking "Transfer files over local network" under Settings...Device Then you should be able to browse your Shield by IP or hostname from Windows, etc. Full path will look like the below example: \\x.x.x.x\internal\Android\data\org.xbmc.kodi\files\.kodi\addons\plugin.service.emby-next-gen

Depends on the definition of high. Before playing a movie, the server was sitting at 3.7GB memory used. During playing, it went up to 11.7GB and settled there. Stopping the movie has the memory use immediately jump back down to 3.7GB. I'm using htop to monitor. Interesting observations: It takes about 2:40 of playing the movie for the "red bar" to show up in the Emby Dashboard It's at this time (when the red bar first appears) when memory use hits the 11.7GB mark. The memory use stops growing and holds there for the duration of the movie The green hardware acceleration symbols next the 4K HEVC and Trandcode (in the Video section of the Dashboard) also show up at this same time (red bar showing up at 2:40 into the movie)

I looked at the log file I sent you guys and I saw problems with the MusicBrainz plugin, I uninstalled it and now I'm monitoring things. I'll respond back if my problem persists.

Did you see high memory usage with it?

Hi Luke, I tested at 60,000 and it worked. Then tested at 50,000 and it also worked. Then re-tested at 40,000 and it failed. For reference, the server it's running on has 32GB memory and an Intel Core i7-4790K - oldie but goodie. Transcoding is done on an nVidia 1660 Super using NVENC/NVDEC.

I tried now with the default UI to add devices, I can see "/dev/dri" within the container but its still not working same logs.

FYI, On my end, all went well with upgrade to 10.0.25, was on 10.0.23, did upgrade first to 10.0.24. Running latest Kodi on AndroidTV. After a reboot of the TV (to make sure all is clean) I did followed the steps to upgrade to 10.0.25. All good after and no issues yet!

But what's the reason for long scans now when everything is turned off? Why those metadatas are being overwritten with every scan and should I just leave it and hope it'll go back to normal on it's own one day?

I appreciate the advice, but my movie naming schemes have not changed, and before this problem popped up I have had no problem with my naming scheme. And when the proper metadata providers are enabled correctly, I have no issues.
