This is not true. I am having freezing issues with the native android app. It keeps transcoding. I disable the transcode in the server, emby will not play. I enable it and go to the transcoding folder. Found out that it is transcoding. It seems when you updated to the newest ffmpeg something went wrong. You may wanna take a look at it again, no not no bs error logs etc. You compiled the software. Last time I sent in a bug, you forgot to add in an important piece of code. It took me a lot of messages and being mad and sending you reports. Turns out someone else seen your mistake. As of this time you need no reports, you go back to ffmpeg and emby and your see. It is transcoding. I didn't need a million error reports to find that. This is a problem in the release and beta. I am replacing my ffmpeg in your folder to use a version that works.

I would like the view options to be similar to the main movies folder, so I can choose what to see in the collections folder. Where I can see the bit rate and space the movie takes. Also how long it is and the quality at a glance. Currently there is no setting options in the collection folder to be able to change the view option. Or I cannot find it

An update. I ran these 2 ACL commands - setfacl -R -m user:emby:rwX /home/media/Downloads/complete setfacl -R -m d:user:emby:rwX /home/media/Downloads/complete and it looks like it's picking up the files now. Is this the correct method to allow permission to this emby user?

To confirm - it's this FireTV Devices yes ? (AFTSS) Device Specifications: Fire TV Streaming Media Player | Amazon Fire TV If yes, then it clearly states it supports Main10@L4 .. I guess over to the dev's as I suspect you are correct, emby is simply not reading the device properly for its capabilities. The earlier FireTV stick (1st and 2nd Gen) do not support Main10 - so perhaps it is mistakenly thinking it is one of those.. ?

Si je récapitule bien tu as le serveur emby qui tourne sur un PC et les fichiers de média sur ton QNAP et tu veux tout mettre sur le QNAP c'est ça ? Si oui je ne vois pas pourquoi cela ne marcherait pas mais attention à la problématique du transcodage ! C'est quel modèle de QNAP ? Car beaucoup de NAS ont des processeurs quasi inexistants ce qui ne permet pas du tout de transcodage !

Ultimately I do not wish to use root therefore I created a user called media, added to sudoers just to install Emby, everything worked well but the problem is when I checked emby process is running as emby user - root@mediaserver1:~# ps aux | grep emby emby 1386 1.9 6.9 3692672 274028 ? Can someone point me in the right direction to figure out why everything is working fine except for the scanning? Basically I will remove "media" user from sudoers once my setup is conplete. sabnzbd is running as media user. I want emby to run as media as well. That way it won't have any problem accessing my downloads directory.

Je dois avoir tout le temps ce pc en marche pour avoir accès Si j'installe ce même serveur sur le nas et qu'il soit configuré (je sais comment faire) En laissant seul le nas en fonction connecté à ma box Le serveur Emby sera t il accessible de l'extérieur,sans que mon pc soit en marche Merci à vous Et à la communauté

I have a music folder. In the folder, there are music streams. Let’s say (A stream, B stream and C stream). When I browse into the folder, when I clicked A stream, the B stream plays. When I clicked B stream, C stream plays. This happens when I play by going into the folder. If I play the stream, through Recently Played folder, correct stream plays.

If Roku does the video adds it then depends on how much of an annoyance they are and how quickly can they be skipped. If they are mandatory watching, then I will ditch my Rokus and buy and Apple TV 4K box and be done with Roku. Just hope that the Emby app for Apple is as good as for Roku.

When you say title, what exactly were you adding the tag to, and removing it from?
