For just paths, that will work, but I use a lot of pattern matching in the scripts. Guess what PowerShell uses for that? Anyway, getting off topic...

Thanks - I did look into that but I'm actually trying to code a small solution for myself regarding how I want to maintain my libraries and cleanup. The idea is to gather information if the TV show has been played by anyone and list all shows with zero plays. Then those shows get piped into Trakt to gather show rating and recommend shows that have low ratings and other factors to be deleted. Ultimately the solution will be able to remove the shows through Emby. I think I've gotten far enough on my own after this thread recommending adding UserDataPlayCount and UserDataLastPlayedDate to my requested fields: Ideally I'd want to be able to get this information on a show basis and not having to go through every users play activity per episode. I have 27 users with over 27.000 episodes which means scanning 729.000 times just to get the total play count, but for the current purpose of my solution this is good enough to begin with

When did it last work? Have you updated from using opensubtitles.org to opensubtitles.com? Paul
-
Guess you could put " " around the path in powershell, like you do with spaces.

Does that include a password reset process for local users on your server, so that those users can reset their own passwords?

CoverArt should be fully supported. So this item doesn't have a logo, correct? This may be an issue in the app when it is falling back to a poster because there is no logo.

Changes to library directories not causing a library scan
reyist replied to HawkXP71's topic in General/Windows
@HawkXP71 (First of all sorry for my English) Thanks for the script. With some modifications it worked on my synology nas. But I have another media library with thousands of home photos and videos and this script also starts scanning them. I would like to exclude this particular library from being scanned Is there a way to modify the script to avoid scanning this specific library? -
Some films and series are not displayed in Emby on the TS-251

Does any, or all, Android clients not auto-exit after time?
ebr replied to Gilgamesh_48's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
Actually, the Android TV/Fire TV apps do have a setting for this. -
I did. They are correct at both the series and episode levels. The external IDs for the special "Babylon 5 - S00E02 - In the Beginning" are: Clicking on the links next to the IDs takes me to the respective pages at IMDb and TheTVDB. Emby has scraped all the correct metadata, and it reports the episode correctly when playing. But for some reason Trakt is reporting something else.
-
Did you tell them about that exact message and where it is happening? That message is not ours so it has to be coming from them.
-
Ohh wow how did Emby FUBAR that. I would try with series folder {Series TitleYear} [TvdbId={TvdbId}] Something like this
-
It does not work I have tried to play with multiple options on the subtitle. And no, it does not play them on the mentioned devices

I have updated to the latest server today that was just released (v4.8.7.0) and also restarted the Theatre (Desktop version) app multiple times. Same issue still.

update is easy via repository install over the old. maybe you could add to qa I was not sure keeping that fragile construct together -
Believe me, the naming scheme is in order. Folder -> Series Name (year) -> Season# -> Filename (See screenshot above for filename examples)

No sort by date added for playlists in Server 4.8.6
Tremas replied to Tremas's topic in General/Windows
Most of my playlists are ones that were created before 4.8. I just haven't had time to work through all permutations of what is working and what isn't, so there is a non-zero chance this only applies to libraries with "old" playlists that existed prior to 4.8. I just haven't checked is all. Are you able to re-create on your end? -
Should I just delete M3U and start over?

Try unselect and select the sub after pushing play.

This is a Home videos & photos type of folder. So it is meant for random content. Anyway why different naming would cause missing search results? Then why Jellyfin has no issues finding all the files then? Only Emby? Thanks.
