Wouldn't that expose them on the UI, though? The whole reason I went from the plugin to the core was to get rid of the UI clutter they were generating. Well, that and it shuffling around genuine chapter markers into the wrong spot. Very keen on that plugin version that just adds the hidden markers and doesn't mess with the embedded chapters at all.

Yes, I am indeed doing that. I assume you mean the chromecast is rejecting the cert. I do see that my cert renewed the 30th, so the timeline makes sense. The one thing that this wouldn't explain is why it occasionally works (very rarely, but once in a while it does seem to connect just fine). Don't suppose you may have some solution if you've seen this before (I'll try digging around myself as well).

There are two important points that I need to point out about the new GUI. First, it's a GUI that creates Emby query strings. This restricts what the GUI can do. All of the hard work associated with building the EPG is now done within the Emby server via existing API's. This is why the GUI code is so small. The second point is that I extended the Emby search to include wild cards. This code is part of the GUI and is also quite small. I am working now extending the TV platform to employ my query strings to build channel content. This is simple because Luke intended it to work that way from the beginning. I am very busy for the next few weeks, so progress will be slow. Vic

so the server busiy at that time was my modem went on me and had to get a new modem installed..but this issue that was happening with the freezing. He was watching a movie and at around the 1hr 5min mark the video froze but the audio kept playing. He close the movie and went back to that spot and it played fine. The other users said two days ago the same thing the tv series they were watching the video would freeze and the audio was still playing it happened two episodes. These issues are not happening to me..only remote users..and there are only two of them..so far. ..and its such a random occurence its hard to pin point it

Already did it; even on another browser do not appear. (Clearly installed just to try, Vivaldi for example, I am using Waterfox usually) And there is something "maybe" bugged too , Playlist always showing even if ticket and unticket on preferences on start page; but if I collpase and expand menu it will be gone. Hi. A new version of the app was released this morning that will improve this. It should now show you over two hours worth of unique items when playing like this. We will look into extending that to the entire set but this should improve it for now. Thanks. @Gilgamesh_48this version also has the ability to mark/unmark a photo as a favorite. Just bring it up full screen (click on it) then hit either OK or '*' at that point. This will also work during a slide show if you happen to see a photo you want to mark in that context.

Hi visproduction, That seemed to work, thank you. I couldn't tell you why it was set up this way, it's been like this for years and I'm rather new here, but it was my impression that in an education environment students would only be given access to the movies in the classes that they are enrolled in. I'll get on re-organizing then if it could help, thanks!

I am sending you 4 photos. They are different resolutions (due to cropping) but all 4 are in the 3:2 aspect ratio. I did test this on a Sony Tv and a LG TV, both running the same versions of the apps with the same results. Interestingly, on my Android phone, running the same version, the photos show correctly. I also checked about 5 different photo viewers on the computer and the photos are displayed correctly on all of them. It is just the Emby Android (not the TV one) that does not show them correctly. On a side note, there is a weird black screen thing that happens on that app also when changing from photo to photo. Hope you guys can get this fixed. photos-zipped.zip

it kind of did and did not. While surprisingly, now the movies with TrueHD sound are playing (so I assume the transcoding is working), the movies don't want to start playing on their own. If I jump to a random point within the movie, it plays fine. And the going back to the beginning, everything is fine as well. This extends to AC3 as well. But weirdly enough, not to E-AC3 or any DTS audios... I'm starting to wonder if my Mac is causing the problems. Do you have any ideas why that is happening now? I tried disabling the subtitles BEFORE starting the movie, that didn't change a thing sadly

JD, Check Admin dashboard / Users / Individual User 3 dots / User edit / Access tab / Library Access Enable access to all libraries --- Why can you not just group media into folders that match your group preference instead of adding many individual media folders to a library? Adding so many folders in a library is not really a best practice. It makes dbase sorting heavier, slows down the entire site and probably raises the possibility of breaking code.
