Danke für den Tipp, funktioniert zwar nur halb aber besser als vorher. Es gibt da offensichtlich nur 2 sehr ähnliche Wege: Bisher habe ich es mit unterschiedlichen Namen nach der Episodennummer versucht: Serie - S01E01 Titel - Teil 1.mkv und Serie/Staffel 01/Serie - S01E01 Titel - Teil 2.mkv gemacht, dann hat man im Client ein kleines Auswahlfenster für die Version, kann man aber auch leicht übersehen und mal ist 1 oben und mal die 2 (warum auch immer) Mit deinem Tipp habe ich nun mit Serie - S01E01 Titel -pt1.mkv und Serie/Staffel 01/Serie - S01E01 Titel -pt2.mkv (es funktioniert auch -cd1/-cd2). Nun ist das Auswahlfenster weg und er zeigt bei der Episode darunter direkt den nächsten Teil an (mit Vorschaubild). Leider wird der 2. Teil auch so nicht automatisch abgespielt aber es ist auf jeden Fall schonmal deutlich schöner als mit Versionsauswahl. Wenn da noch jemand einen Tipp hätte wie das automatisch funktioniert wäre ich natürlich auch nicht böse

@ebr @Luke There is one german translation in Emby Server / Web App that shows as updated for some time now, but whenever someone tries to update it, it reverts back to the content of 2019, I guess because it was approved in the past. Could you revert that so it becomes editable again?

I wanted to post the very same because I just noticed this today by pure chance after having turned on the image extraction just recently (previously, I was using an external player for the emby client, and therefore, the whole thing would have been a waste of resources anyway). I was browsing through the chapters of Star Wars, and suddenly, I saw CGI Jabba of the Special Edition, although I was watching 4K77. I really like the chapter images, a great feature, but for multiple versions of e.g. a movie in a single folder (grouped together in emby), it's kind of sub-optimal. Is this something that would or could warrant a feature "request"?

If I understood your question correctly, I use the version for docker container, with each update (not all fortunately), I reinstall a container with the latest version coming from the "image" part of Container Manager. I've never been able to find a way to upgrade an emby server on the same container. Is it possible? If so, could you tell me how? Is there a tutorial available? thanks for your feedback. Bei Filmen wird das wohl unterstützt, bei Serien/Episoden steht davon nichts, aber du kannst es ja mal probieren die Folgen entsprechend dem Movie-Schema zu benennen, also statt a/b dann z.-B. -pt1/-pt2 (was wohl auch am Ende stehen müsste und der Rest des Dateinamens muss vermutlich identisch sein, also keine unterschiedlichen Titel).

I usually use Emby for android TV on my MiTV and it works. I resently try to install mobile version on TV and it crashs during startup. Do it support Android TV? The android OS of my MiTV is Android 9.

Hi Running Theater 3.0.20 on Windows 11 with a Ryzen CPU & Radeon GPU on a 4k TV. Everything works fine for playing back content, but I cannot access the settings menu. If I navigate to it with the keyboard and when I hit Enter or Space it makes the noise of hitting the button but the setting menu never appears. Using a mouse or the MCE IR remote also does not work. Things I have tried: Running in a Windows instead of fullscreen, tried changing desktop resolution to 1080p from 4k, tried differing Windows scaling options from 100% to 300% (the recommended by Windows for 4k) I have 7 other PC's running 3.0.20, some are mine and some are located at my Mums and Sisters place etc. They are all working fine, just this one instance which unfortunately is a main lounge room viewing PC, and not on a nephews PC in their bedroom. We really want to be able to shut Theater down from the menu with the IR remote without having to grab a mouse to do it.

Hi Luke, sorry been a busy weekend. I can't provide anything too specific but I can tell you when it last happened to me and what I did to cause it. (And this has happened MANY times over the years) I have 2 machines that contain my libraries, I recently replaced a drive with a much bigger one. This drive mostly contains TV series that have ended, so I know they are not going to grow and can thus manage free space on the drive. I shut down Emby and moved a heap of TV series that had now ended from my 'live" system to the new drive. Once the move had completed, I fired Emby back up, let it do a library scan to reflect the moved files. Once it had finished (I did few scans to be sure) some but not all of the show were now sitting in the Latest TV section on the home page. This also happens when I move movies (again only some not all), but with a movie it's a simple case of editing the metadata to reflect an older date added and it instantly removes itself from the Latest Movies section. With TV there is no way to remove a series from the Latest TV section other than wait for new episodes of other shows to "push" it off the end so to speak. I would expect this behaviour if I take a drive full of media and add it to another Emby installation (then of course it is "new"), but I don't expect it to happen on a system that already had the TV Show on it, just moved to another library folder.

It's not a plugin issue. Kodi is responsible for the playbacks, Emby server for the stream data. The plugin just tells Kodi what to play. Usual suspects are the hardware acceleration settings in Kodi, firmware bugs or android issues.

Doubles usually happens on Kodi crashes while init sync. Yes a factory reset is the best way to fix such an issue.

You might downgrade to 10.0.22 with Emby 4.7 server. No need to reset the database...

Try enable Transcode livetv.
