I love these.  Already own, a strong recommend for anyone thinking about it.

(Note: since recent MB Upgrade, if you are using with TV series, it may auto-start the video and you'll need to hit 'back' in order to show your series, not a big deal)

That sounds like to still have the functionality enabled in one of the other themes like crystal, aztec or breeze. Make sure you disable their theme backdrop support and install the latest version of the free theme backdrops plugin from the mbc catalog. That's confirmed working fine with the latest mbc. Any problems, let me know.

Cool, Radeon.  I'm using Chocolate, so I'm not sure but I'll check that tonight.  :)

Hi Guys,

I'm risking feeling like a real dufass once someone sets me straight on this one, however, I'm sitting here cash in hand (so to speak), but cannot figure out how to support this one!

The link from the plugin takes me to the general 'become a sponsor' page, which will allow me to donate via paypal easy enough, but I cannot see how to specify its these plugins I want.

Where is the right place to pay?

Kind regards,

Sam

Hey Sam, you should be able to buy them through the usual catalog method.

If you go into the media browser dashboard.

  • Click Plugins on the left
  • Click Catalog at the top
  • Click on the plugin you want to register.
  • Scroll down the page and click Register Now with PayPal

That should take you to the paypal payment page.

Do that for all of the plugins you want, one by one, get them installed, restart mediabrowser server and run the scheduled tasks. :-D

Hopefully that helps. Any problems, just let me know.

All the best,

Hi Radeon,

Thanks for the quick reply!

Am I looking in completely the wrong spot?

I have (full screenshot below):

The trial period for this feature has expired

This is a premium plugin.

It will require a supporter key in order to purchase and register after the 14-day free trial.

Of which -- The premium link brings me a popup help and the support key link takes me to the generic become a sponsor link..

Kind regards,
Sam.

Does anyone have a video demo of Movie Theme Videos? I would like to see it in action before I install the trail.

- Does it pull down the Blu-ray menu intro?

- How do you like it? Did it find most of your movies?

- How do you add missing movies, so other Media Browser users can access the intro you found?

Ah, yeah, do you have a supporter key purchased and installed? If not, you will need to but one before you can buy any of the premium plugins.

Hey @ApexPredator, in answer to your questions

  • Video of it in action, not sure there has been any made actually. I think mostly because the trial lets to experience it first hand.
  • Typically, yes, its the blu-ray menu but there are some tasteful user submitted ones if a blu ray menu doesn't exist. All 720p or above. I have 916 Movies in my collection and 637 Theme videos have been downloaded so far. Obviously, as more and more people buy and join the contributors network, more and more themes are downloaded each time the scheduled task runs. To give you an idea, 11 new ones have been uploaded today alone so its always getting bigger and bigger.
  • I love it, but i can understand that you wouldn't take my word for it as i created it. So ill leave that to others to reply if they wish:-D
  • If there are any missing ones and you want to add your own, by placing a video in a hidden backdrops folder in your media folder, i.e. G:\Movies\{SomeMovieName}\Backdrops\theme.mp4/mkv, It will

                    1. play like all of the others do,

                    and

                    2. if you have the contributors network enabled (which gives access to over 4k more themes) within the plugins configuration, automatically submit it to all other users if it doesn't already exist centrally.

I hope that answers your questions :-D

If there are any themes you dont like when they have downloaded, just simply delete them from your movie folder and it wont download again. :-D
