Something seems to be broken and emby can't find my TV media like it used to yesterday.

Curiously Next Up plays, but my Season folders show as empty and rescans don't change anything.

Sorry, I didn't see that. Yes, it's the same issue.

How do I fix this? I don't want to refresh metadata because it will mess up things I've written in there. Can I just revert back to the old version? This is a terrible update, to be honest

Unfortunately for the majority it is fine but there are always outliers that have a hard time.  But pretty sure it will require a refresh.  Unless some fines a workaround.

Reverting/downgrading is only possible if you have an entire backup of previous install as the new upgrade has major database changes.

I take that back, I noticed there was an option to only search for missing metadata and it doesn't seem to have changed anything and now episodes appear again. Cheers. I think some of the thumbnails are now in the proper aspect, too (old 4:3 episodes) so that's good.
