Changed local IP pool, can no longer access Emby remotely

I recently had to change my local IP pool and can no longer access Emby remotely, even using Emby connect. Is there something else I need to do? Open ports on my router? I thought that was unnecessary with Emby connect.

Hi, you may need to adjust the port forwarding in your router to point to the new lan ip address.

Were you even able to access you server from outside your local network?

If so then after changing your IP pool you probably have old/bad port forwarding.  You should be able to point that to the new Emby Server IP address.
This is covered in this Knowledge Base article
https://emby.media/support/articles/Connectivity.html

If that doesn't help and you would like some remote help let us know and we can do a remote session with you to get things working again for you.

For some reason I can't confirm 8096 as open even though I have it set up on the router. Is there another port I can switch to?

Have you tried canyouseeme.org to test you port(s)?

If you like I can do a remote support session with you to help you out and get your remote setup or help you find out if it's not possible because of ISP blocking or similar.
If you would like to do this send me a PM and we can arrange it.

Got a chance to remote in tonight and got this working with a change to port forwarding and using a different port.

All good now.
