The app on my Samsung TV has a issue with a video where no forced subtitles appear.
As a test with my Samsung S21, using the latest Emby app,  the subtitles do appear. Also using the web browser interface, the subtitles do appear.
Any ideas why this is occurring?
near the 2021-05-02 00:02:46  mark in the log file..

Can you please attach the media info for this file?  It looks like it is direct playing so I want to confirm the stream details

Are you using the app from the App Store or the Beta from USB?

OK, it's possible this might be fixed in the next release already.

Get the media info from the bottom of the details page for that movie/item on the server or web client

Better to get it from the server as it shows all streams, not just the current streams

Hi, before we chase our tails you may just want to install the latest USB version and see if it's resolved with that.

I was looking at this last night.  All of my samples (~10) with mov_text subs all fail to display.  Searching the forum I've found a few reports of this so we probably need handle these differently.  I started to make a change but ended up down a rabbit hole, so I need to get back onto this as I think it is a problem

It looks like the device doesn't support mov_text, so in the next update to the app we'll handle them differently.

There is a option to capture srt files with the video.. I can try that in tomorrow
