slymeasy 0 Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Ok, so I noticed that Emby didn't correctly identify some of my tv shows and movies automatically, so I identified them manually. Then I come back later, and all the manual edits have been reverted to default. I tried to lock the edits and that didn't work either. So I started searching to see how I could fix this and I noticed that this was a problem that was fixed with the Windows version.
Luke 42079 Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Hi, that topic was only related to movie extras, not related to actual movies. Do you have nfo files in your media directories next to your video files?

slymeasy 0 Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 I realize now that I had designated a custom cache location on another drive. I removed the custom cache location so that might be the reason it started working again.

slymeasy 0 Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) I was thinking it might make sense to keep the cache off the SSD, but I just decided to just leave it alone. I'm amazed I managed to get everything working flawlessly on Linux after being a long time Windows user. Edited March 5, 2021 by slymeasy
Luke 42079 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 That setting is not going to be related to this. You can wipe the contents of the cache folder anytime you want and it won't be a problem.
