sweetth 0 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Hello there, Long time user of Kodi I am looking at alternatives due to the needs of purchasing additional Kodi box for smart TV (that is annoying when they are capable of playing files by themselves) Anyway, I want to be able to synchronise my viewing. I have two recent 4k TV. A Samsung and an LG webos (I understand that Emby can be installed on both of them through their respective app store. I do not think any transcoding will be required as both TV can play 4k her content. So could the Emby server be installed on my Goflex Home running archlinux and run without buffering? We could be watching two files at the same time. There is also couple of Linux PC's that will have Emby connected to it. I hope this is enough information. Thank you.
