ericepe 0 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 I have been running emby since my helios64 device arrived in November last year. It's running armbian Linux and has been doing fine until I did an update yesterday. uname -a reports: 5.9.14-rockchip64 #20.11.4 SMP PREEMPT Tue Dec 15 08:52:20 CET 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux I downloaded the emby-server-deb_4.5.4.0_arm64.deb and installed it with dpkg -i status=11/SEGV Then I used softy again, which uses this script: grep emby /usr/bin/softy # install_emby_server AMBY_STATUS="$((check_if_installed emby-server) \ install_emby_server () URL=$(curl -s https://api.github.com/repos/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/latest | grep "/emby-server-deb.*${ARCH}.deb" | cut -d : -f 2,3 | tr -d \") fancy_wget "$URL" "-O ${TEMP_DIR}/emby.deb" dpkg -i ${TEMP_DIR}/emby.deb >/dev/null 2>&1 install_emby_server Now it works. But i still dont know where to get the proper version next time!? It's even more confusing: On this page, https://emby.media/linux-server.html once you select ubuntu or debian it shows the download url with an rpm file. If someone would care to package emby and make it available as a ppa repo that would be really nice!
Luke 42078 Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 HI, you would go to our website and download the latest version to install over the top. The reason it is currently showing the wrong link is because the github releases api is currently having problems, but that's not normal. Regarding the segfault, when exactly does it happen?
