Rayger 14 Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Hello, I'm trying to configure my PC to sleep after being idle for an hour, but my system is reporting that EmbyServer is preventing the PC from going idle. There are no scheduled tasks currently running. If I restart EmbyServer, then it appears to be okay, but eventually it will start preventing it again. embyserver.txt
Luke 42087 Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Hi, on windows, emby server will keep the machine awake as long as there is at least one connected emby app. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
Rayger 14 Posted October 13, 2020 Author Posted October 13, 2020 Ok. I tested it without any apps connected, and it still is preventing sleep. Any other suggestions?

Rayger 14 Posted October 13, 2020 Author Posted October 13, 2020 I kept the app off for a longer period of time and the server process finally stopped. It's able to sleep now. Would it be possible to let it sleep with Emby Theater open? Any possible options for that? I like to leave the program up on running on the PC, rather than exiting.
