Empty 'Star' PNG files for people?

So I have hundreds of people in my library, whose images appeared to be broken.

 

It turns out I must have been rate-limited on whichever site Emby attempted to grab their thumbnails from, so I got a generic 'star' placeholder PNG for all of them.

 

Is there a way to blow up the people database, without effecting my other libraries?

 

The 'refresh people' task won't fix anything, because to Emby it looks like they all have images. They're just broken / empty.

I've attached images showing what these broken people look like when they show up under a movie, as well as how their profiles look.

 

I'd say there are at least as many of these 'broken' people as there are people with profile pictures.

 

Almost every movie / show is a mix of people with images, people with no images and people with these broken images.

 

I cannot figure out what's going on.

TMDB has deleted a lot of people images and now it affects the url image the is in your Emby database.  Currently your only option is manually clearing these broken urls in the database.

I tried searching, and kept finding older threads about people not getting images to download at all.

 

I'll take a look and decide what to do.

A large number of my actor images are broken.  The bio info is present but the image file shows a broken icon like this:

 

 

If I Identify the actor again and choose the option to replace existing images, it's fixed.  Is there a bulk version of that that's only for actor records?  The Refresh People task didn't do the trick.
