Emby for android TV on A95X F3 AIR problem

Hi,

 

I just got a new box and having problems with the app emby for android tv

 

The Model is the A95X F3 Air TV-Box with S905X3 SoC

 

the firmware i m running is the latest

the android version is 9 and the kernel version is 4.9.113

 

I tried with both the 1.7.92g from play and the 1.7.78.g and 1.7.99g.

 

The problem i m experiencing is that after i enter my username and password it moves to the next screen where its loading without showing  any media its not responding and then it crashes.

 

i have also installed the emby for android and it works just fine.

 

my emby version is 4.4.0.40

On these boxes it's often a problem, that they are not real AndroidTV boxes.

 

You could try to use the normal Emby fpr Android, as this now also has a TV view.

 

Maybe this version runs better, I don't think it needs any spcial AndroidTV functions.

Hi. Yes, more than likely, you are running a non-Android TV rom.  If you can find a suitable rom for the device it may work.

It might work on your device, it might not.

Didnt know that emby for android has an TV view option now.

 

I removed emby for android tv and installed emby for android.

 

Enabled the tv view and its working like a charm.
