4.4.0.40 - Has the Option To Re-order channels been broken

I used to be able to edit the 'Sort Number' under MetaData to get the channels re-ordered in by guide as per: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/64517-reorder-channels-from-hdhomerun/

 

Unfortunately, this no longer works. I have set Sort Number to '1' for a channel so I expect this at the top of the guide in Emby Theatre, but its appearing at the channel number position (101). I am unable to change the channel no.

 

Is this new behaviour in 4.4.0.40 ? Its damned annoying, whatever's causing it!

Hi, it does work, but only when sorting channels by title and we need to add a title sort option into the guide for this. We'll be getting this out in the next set of app updates. thanks.

Just FYI - Roku, Android TV and Fire TV should already have this option.

This feature worked last week. it should not be that hard to restore it? When can we expect this issue to be resolved?

We'll be getting a 4.4.1 update out soon that will add a sort by title option to the guide. Apologies for the disruption.
