Apple TV direct streaming video freeze

Any possibility it is this?

but the hardware has not changed...

 

The server and the apple tv is hooked up with cat6 cables to a gigabit swich (tp-link 8 port)  and then to an asus (https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/RT-AX88U//)

can try if direct to asus. 

 

i will try and get back.
