Yes that did the trick. With the delay present, playback will start smoothly at the correct time.

The only issue i am experiencing now is, when it switches to a different episode.

It will leave to the previous screen and immediately go back trying to play the next item. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it will fail, like in the recording above.

Any idea if that is fixable? Maybe adding the delay between episodes could help here too?

First: this plugin is fantastic and has made (re)discovering my content so easy and fun.

I'm looking to create a channel that plays the "Behind the Scenes" featurettes from DVD bonus features. I've tried tagging individual videos, adding them to a playlist, and adding them to a collection, but the channel's program guide comes up blank when set to Rules (with a tag rule) and no collections/playlists show up when content source is set to either of those. I've gotten titles to show up in the program guides when the main parent title is tagged or added to a collection/playlist, so it appears any extra feature videos cannot be added independently of the parent title - can you confirm and/or suggest another way to achieve what I'm going for?

Hi, I'm, curious. This plugin seems to not work at all. Playlist (Live) plays a 60 second video of blackness with no sound (repeated infinitely). Playlist (Archive) plays videos from the beginning. Continuous (Any) gives spinning wheel forever. Native (Any) starts videos from the beginning. I guess I just don't understand it.

I'm loving this plugin and I love the concept.  There is one recommendation of something that I would like see.  I wish the Sort Program by "Random Series, Random Episodes" would play consecutive episodes in order.  For example if a series was scheduled to play 3 episodes in a row and it randomly picked s2e3 the next two episodes would be s2e4 & s2e5.  I've tried changing the sort to "Random Series, Ordered Episodes" but something keeps resetting the series and it goes back to s1e1. I struggle to get to the later season before it resets and it keeps show the early episodes over and over.

Do you have caching of program data enabled?

When your guide refreshes and caching is not enabled the program data gets reset and will start your shows back at the beginning. 

I recommend keeping "Random Series, Ordered Episodes" and enabling caching of program data. I believe this will fix the issue you are explaining

What device are you using? 

I would also recommend clearing the cache for the channel and refreshing your guide to see if that fixes the issue.Your playback method set to Playlist(Live) is typically what you would want to stick with also.

I cleared the cache after posting and so far episodes have been advancing.

I thought I was good on this issue but my server rebooted last night and now my episodes are back to s1e1.  I can change my option Random Series, Ordered Episode Playback. to see if that helps after a reboot.  If I set the filter to unwatched only what happens after every episode has been watched?  To get past watching the first few episodes again I was thinking of marking them as watched and setting the filter.

Is there any workaround to including videos from a 'Home Videos and Photos' library? Under my Rules section, I'm only pulling in Libraries that have TVShows or Movies specifically, but I want to make a LiveTV station of what would be considered 'Home Videos'.

Is Caching of Program data enabled for that channel? It should have a check mark

Hello I had a quick question and I'm pretty sure it's user error on my part but it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could tell me how to accomplish what I'm looking to do.

So my primary account (admin) will not set or default to the programs tab when entering the live tv library on the home screen under my media.

So when I go to my media enter the live tv it opens up with the channels tab showing not the programs tab and it's only doing these for the admin account every other account loads or opens up with the programs tab showing.

Please see attached photos to reference or is it that the admin account can't be defaulted to perform that action because it's has full control which can't be disabled?

But thanks in advance as usual it's always greatly appreciated

The 2nd pic is how I would like it to load when opening with the programs showing

3rd pic is another account that loads the programs tab by default every time when entering I have also check all devices I use all Nvidia Shield and Android phone Google Pixel 9 & 10 Pro if any of that helps
