ng4ever 40 Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 (edited) Samsung S4 phone.I know it is old.If your wondering why I am using such a old phone it is because I am using it for testing only.Anyway Plex seems to work fine but Emby just tries to open at first then i just get a blank screen the whole time. It is really weird.Emby kinda worked at least to go to the server part or the home screen before I factory reset. Though it would always get jaggy or corrupted video when playing something before I factory reset. Main reason why I factory reset is to try to fix that. Edited October 8, 2019 by ng4ever
Dibbes 514 Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Emby needs at least Marshmellow to run and the S4 has Lollipop as latest official version, so with the stock firmware, no, it won't work. I have not been able to get it to work on Lineage and two or three other unofficial ROMs. The server will just not start at all... 1

I was hoping to have the same test environment as well by using the same Emby app but it is ok. That should work for now.

I can see the Emby server now through the app. Now onto the next problem!
