4.1.0.26 Update - 3 Big Problems Still Exist

Thanks fellas for all the hard work and great product. The server updated today to the latest stable (4.1.0.26) and 3 big problems still exist for me!

 

I have mentioned these before in other posts but thought I would cry again since they are a pretty big deal and can push away some potential new users.

 

1. Can't simultaneously Direct Play Live TV on one device and transcode that same channel on another device (HDHomerun)

 

If you first Direct Play something using your HDHomerun tuner then try to tune that same channel on another device simultaneously, it will only Direct Play it, even if that 2nd device is set to Transcode!

 

2. Screen goes to BLACK when adjusting brightness (Web App/Mobile)

 

I start playing content then hit the fill screen [ ] button.

 

After that I slide my finger up/down on the left side of the screen to adjust the brightness and the screen goes to BLACK. Audio continues playing. I have to hit the [ ] fill screen button to get out of full screen mode and the video comes back, then hit [ ] again to fill the screen.

 

3. Playback stops where commericals have been ripped (Web App/Mobile)

 

Playback pauses with recorded Live TV content when it reaches the point where a commercial has been stripped out. I use Plex Server to record TV shows/movies since commercial stripping is built-in/automatic. Works very well. This only happens with the mobile web app for me. Playback is flawless on my Nvidia Shield.
