Multiple trailers & naming

Is having multiple trailers for a movie supposed to be supported? Putting multiple items into the trailers subfolder still only makes the first one accessible to clients, via the trailer button. None are listed under the extras. I've been picking one trailer to serve as the "canonical" trailer and putting the rest under extras. This works fine, and makes sense given that trailers have special behavior compared to other kinds of extras. I just wanted to be sure I'm following best practices (but also it would please my OCD if I could actually have all the trailers in one folder ).

Hi, the way it works is the trailer button should play them all. But yes, we can start listing trailers under extras as well. Thanks.

• Furthermore: What about being able to choose between all available trailers if the trailer button is clicked? (only if two or more trailers are available).

I don't think that makes sense for the button. The button I think should be more like an easy button - either we just pick one or play them all.

But there was a major uproar listing trailers in extras, even though they are in my eyes.

But it own section I guess would be a compromise ONLY if you have more then one trailer.

@LukeRe-reading the discussion above i agree with you that the "trailer button" should be "easy  button", so just pick one of the trailers. Adding the other (or all available trailers) in the "extras" section in emby is the best solution. Can i may ask the progress / status of this? It this still on your list?

We tried to do that and there was push back from users. At some point I suppose we can try again.

Hi Luke, (A) It this still on your list? (B) That were the push backs by some users? If users do not have multiple trailers nothing is changed and users who got multiple trailers can select all trailers on the extra section.

Yes, still on the radar, just a matter of figuring out how best to do it. Most users will have multiple trailers without even realizing it due to how we pull them in from moviedb.
