Ubuntu hw acceleration setup.

Hello.

 

I am trying to get emby to see my nvidia p2000 in the transcoding section. But when I select advance it doesn't show my grapdics card at all. I installed emby to my server directly from the emby website. Any help here would be great.

Also I seem to only be able to access emby from my server by going into firefox. There doesn't seem to be an app when I installed it.

Yes, I'm pretty positive we did. We installed Linux, updated to latest driver for p2000 and installed emby.

 

Obviously we missed something. Also we could only get emby to see a movie if it was planning Ed on the SSD holding the OS. But couldnt if put on the hard drive I would like them to be on.

The graphics render node device has root:video ownership.  The emby OS user should be a member of the video group.
