Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Since the task is hidden now you can run it via the API or restart your server to trigger the startup task trigger.

Sammy 790 Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 I got it to update to server version 4.0.2.0 this morning and although the installation was downloaded I couldn't get it to install by restarting the server. During the time period that it was pending installation it wouldn't play anything on my ShieldTV. I resrarted the server several times to no avail. Then I went to task manager and killed the Emby server running tasks. After that I noticed that emby server update what is a running task. I went back to the dashboard refresh the page and after a few minutes of seeing it tell me the database was updating I have my server back on version 4.0.2.0. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

Now it is hidden but still runs on a interval (every 24hrs) and at startup. 1

I had to close three runnin Emby Server Processes in Task Manager. There should only be one, right? BTW, I'm now on HotFix 4.0.3 which installed without issue. Thanks @@Luke !
