Can't make 4.0.0.2 read People metadata with Emby Xml plugin

Have set up from scratch a test windows 7 with the new Emby server release.

I have installed Emby XML and I can see it under Metadata Readers in my Library.

Since I maintain all metadata via Metabrowser, all checkboxes under Library are unchecked.

I have copied my metadata folder from my production server in order to re-use my "People" folder.

But, nothing happens when I run "Refresh People" task.

And I get very little info from embyserver.txt.

The metadata folder path seems to be correct, since Emby have created "library" and "views" in it.

What am I doing wrong?

Or isn't it possible anymore to read People metadata from xml?

Thanks for the info!

Guess I'll try pünktchen's plugin too.

Can't quite figure out if it solves the add/maintain "private" actors, ie. some never can be scraped from the Internet.

A bit sad Emby isn't better at backward compatibility.

Pretty many hours lost in due case - for me, too.

Please give some feedback then.

We are going to look into supporting the older People folder to avoid any possible disruption. Thanks guys.

Certainly will. Have just today been through some shoulder surgery - so it may take a couple of days before I'm happy at the keyboard again - have my arm in a sling :P

Sounds great, thanks. I'm happy at 3.5.3 so I'm in no hurry - bu I'll follow the topic Happy2Play quoted in #2 and will try to help in testing on my Win7 VM.
