issues with real time monitoring on Xpenology system

Hi,

 

I am having issues with real time monitoring on latest stable Emby server(4.0.0.2) on Xpenology loader 1.04b DS918+.

 

I uploaded a movie and waited for more than half hour for it to pickup. If I run a manual scan of the library the movie gets picked up.

 

The movie file was uploaded at around 3.39 - 3.42 pm and the log time was 4.19 pm.

 

Any help on this please.

Did you check your settings for each library to ensure the realtime monitor is enabled?

Yes the media files are on the same NAS and real-time monitoring is enabled on all the libraries.

Can you enable debug logging under Logs in the server dashboard, restart the server, repeat the test, and then attach a new log file? Thanks !

Enabled debug logging and uploaded couple of new movies 5 mins apart from each other

Unfortunately no events ever fired here. @@solabc16 is everything with mono configured properly to allow INotify to trigger events?

In general, we don't have any problems with the real time monitor with the current releases.

 

However, we do sometime run into the default kernel limits, especially with large libraries.

 

Can you give me some idea on the size of your library, in terms of the number of titles?

 

Also, it would be helpful if you could run the Send Logs utility and post the reference number here : https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-How-to-Send-us-Support-Logs

I have around 800 movies in my collection organised into 8 different libraries.

 

I have uploaded a couple of movies and then triggered the Send Logs utility from SSH with name "sendlogs_HARSHAXpen_synology_apollolake_918+_20190120T143844UTC.tgz"
