Synced audio files not reachable by player apps

Problem on Emby Android application.

 

Since the last 2 versions, audio sync has suffered a regression.

 

The players (tried with the default one of my phone and VLC) can't access the synced audio files.

 

After a little investigation I saw that the files are synced in Android/data/com.mb.android folder.

As this is kinda "system" folder, the audio apps can't access the files.

 

In the sync option we can only select "internal storage" (I have no sd card on my phone)

 

Can the folder chosing be reimplemented? Because of this, the sync becomes kinda useless

Samsung Galaxy S9+ on Android 9. It was the same in android 8
