With it connected up to emby everything comes across as .ts but when i look at the channel information from the hdhr prime on the HD channels it lists avc which from what i understand is .mp4. I dont suppose there is someone that can tell me what is really happening?

I dont suppose there is someone that can tell me what is really happening? That is the way it is H264 in a TS container. H264 is a codec mp4 is a container not the same.

So in emby terms thats what is happening when on the server dashboard it says direct streaming right ( as opposed to direct play which i believe means its not altering anything )
