Subtitles not showing up

Since a few months i can't make the emby app to show me subtitles on my samsung 32k5600.

 

The only subtitle that shows up is the forced one from the file... the other downloaded don't!

 

 

any help will be appreciated!

This appears to be a common problem with either K series and/or release 1.0.40.  From the links below Luke mentions it should be fixed in the next release

Samsung is still reviewing 1.0.40 for 2018s so I can't test and am stuck on 1.0.29
