dcook 299 Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 I have noticed since the last version (perhaps 2) of Emby on Roku, when you are finished watching a show instead of taking you back to where you left off in the library as it used to, it seems like the screen refreshes or glitches and it takes you back the beginning. For example, If I have 20 items in my library, and I select item 8 to watch, after watching, if I press back on remote it takes me back to the library with item 8 still selected, I would then press right arrow to select item 9 and watch it. What happens now in the same example, is: If I have 20 items in my library, and I select item 8 to watch, after watching, if I press back on remote it takes me back to the library with item 8 still selected, I would then press right arrow instead of selecting item 9 as it used to, the screen glitches out and take me back to Item 1 at the top, I then have to navigate down and select item 9 and press play. After every show this will repeat it doesn't matter how many items in the library or which ones I am watching, when trying to select the next item to watch it will glitch and return the cursor back to the 1st item at the top. Hope this makes sense?
dcook 299 Posted April 25, 2018 Author Posted April 25, 2018 (edited) Actually looks like someone else reported the same issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/58116-roku-movie-selection-window-jumping-happening-i-have-no-idea-how-to-fix-it/ And here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/57512-navigation-bug-with-beta-v3074/ I think @@ebr statement about the Grid now refreshes itself is causing the issue, how do we disable this auto refresh? ebr 16177 Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Try the beta release. I will be submitting it for approval soon. Thanks.
dcook 299 Posted April 25, 2018 Author Posted April 25, 2018 I am running .76 right now. Did you remove this auto refreash in the BETA? Also I am not using any filters

ebr 16177 Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Can you reproduce and then send a log from the app because I can't see how that could happen with .76.
dcook 299 Posted April 25, 2018 Author Posted April 25, 2018 It was happening last night with .76 I can try to send you a log tonight or tomorrow. Also if it matters the library in question is a Unset Mixed Content Type, I have not tried with other Library types.
ifignella 12 Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 I was on public and after reading this reproduced it. Then downloaded beta and couldn't reproduce. @@ebr, fyi, the link to add the beta channel just takes you to the Roku "my account" page. The link should be my.roku.com instead of owner.roku.com

ifignella 12 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 (edited) @@ebr, The link itself says owner.roku.com I'm guessing at some point roku changed from owner to my and any link with owner will ignore whatever the actual link is and automatically redirect to the my.roku.com account sign in page. If I change it to my.roku.com/add/embybeta it works as expected. * According to the wayback machine, this redirect started March 2015 Edited April 29, 2018 by ifignella
