Yes. Some big problem since it's been down for days now.

Yea we’re keeping an eye on it. Obviously we’d rather not have to go through the process of switching so we’re going to give it a little more time.

Thanks for the update. Please look for one that works better on mobile devices would be great. Never got OneSky to scale or be useful from my phone.

I see that translation website is online, but I can't login there with my old account.

And I don't see the projects for Emby as before. Only ewm_test is available.

So we are just have to wait for some news?

Yes please.  We are having to move to an entirely new solution.  OneSky shut down.

Just to give you guys an update, we are switching to Weblate, and are currently in process of setting it up.  Thanks all.

I see that website is up and almost ready.

I can translate projects but color theme is likely broken. It now have some mix of light and dark styles. Text have no contrast as it should be.

Compare it with Kodi's Weblate:

P.S. I use Chrome browser with dark mode in settings. If i switch to light mode then interface is ok.

I get why "Emby" should stay non-translatable since it’s a product name, but may I ask why "Emby Server" is also set that way? "Server" feels like a generic technical term, so translating it would probably make more sense in the UI for different languages.

Emby is the name of the platform. Emby Server is the name of the product providing any Emby-related services.

Because it's a product, its name should not be translated for the same reason "Samsung Galaxy" isn't translated to "Samsung Milchstraße" in German.

Products, services and product lines (anything copyrighted really) has a singular name, unless copyrighted in a different language with a different name.
An example of that is Moana: called Vaiana in The Netherlands due to copyright issues.

He visto que habeis cambiado de sitio el tema de las traducciones. Aunque ya he traducido cosas.. mi pregunta es ...hay que revisarlo todo? aunque solo sea por confirmarlo.

 

Y otra pregunta... esta pagina no tiene modo oscuro? lo digo porque ya a mi edad los fondos de las paginas en blanco dañan mucho la vista cuando llevas un rato.

Yes, we are planning to have all strings reviewed - but we'll start this at little later time, because we have yet to determine the exact procedure.
You may have seen the column for review status. These are all 0% at the moment, but at the moment, that doesn't block translations from getting into our software. This may change at a later time, but only when we get everything set up in a way that reviews are happening in a timely manner.

It's broken at the moment, that's why it is not enabled. We'll see what we can do.

[slightly off-topic]

That's because of the damn LED backlight of "modern" displays, which cannot produce a proper white mix and are pulsed.

Older LCD displays were backlit with cold-cathode ray tubes which are producing a much better white light.

So, it's not because you're older. Think about how long LCD displays exist and since when "dark mode" became popular everywhere - the latter roughly coincides with the backlight changes of displays...
