For some devices we have an issue with right-to-left languages. Because of this some devices such as Roku can never support them. Roku also has an issue with Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, and others because we are using a font with limited language support in the app. We do intend to fix the issue. But keep in mind when you translate your effort may not appear in every app because we are restricted by what is possible at the time. Right now Roku is very Latin flavored and because of that our translation effort on Roku seems biased. It is not.

 

It is the same with every device. There are certain restrictions that make them look biased. We allow all languages and embrace the world. There is no reason to think because your language isn't listed we do not care about you. We just might not be able to, or we did not know we had you as an audience. Feel free to ask about any and all languages not represented. You matter. Thanks.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that before.

 

My intention was/is to clean things up, iron errors out and look through the translations in context. Many different variations are used even in the same app, not to mention between the different apps. So I try to harmonize this a little bit.

 

Daedalus checked my translations in the meantime. I communicated with him and we agreed that I recheck the changes again when I find my next free time slot.

There is an almost unbelievable amount of mistakes with grammar and spelling in the danish translation. I'm kind of a grammar nazi, let me fix it, please!!

Could you please remove strings not used? Clean up the strings a bit. I beg you!
I have translated thousands of words by now and the 11 pages that suddenly got added to "Emby Server / Web App" is still there (happened sometime in july of 2019). String already translated or existing in other places.

I have talked about this before but I don't know if I make any sense. To follow me, please read my other posts in this thread.

 

I know there is lots of repeated stuff not used anywhere in Emby anymore. No need for people to help translate not used or the same thing over and over again.

Edit: Talked about this in July 2019. I have just ignored the 11 pages with untranslated stuff and it seems that it doesn't matter, not used in Emby Web.
People going in to this project now will not notice this in the same way but they will spend unnecessary time to translate stuff not used or duplicated stuff.
If you really want people to help, please remove all keys that are not used. It will speed up the work others do to translate.

Also, look at "TRANSLATING MEMORY". They are already there. I don't want to translate the same stuff all over again.

That's not 99,6% translated..  (all words 9866 with 2063 not translated).
And again, this problem is ONLY with "Emby Server / Web Apps".
