jonesc2 1 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Hi Guys Starting getting some strange behaviour have a custom domain with a SSL which has all been working for 4 weeks without any issues (The certificate expires in 6 months) Around 8pm every day Port 8920 starts rejecting connections - can access from port 8096 fine. There are no changes to system apart from the 3.3 update installing, , I have disabled Windows Firewall and I get (I also cannot connect from https://localhost:8920 on server itself) ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED When I restart the service is starts working and then returns to rejecting connections. Any ideas where to start? Thnaks

I just noticed mine doing something similar since I went to 3.3.0, it started last night but not sure when exactly. It knocked out all remote access but the HTTP service internally was still accessible. Are you using ombi as I've seen other posts suggesting it might be the cause. I've turned my ombi service off and rebooted emby which has brought it back. Then again it could be some HTTPS changes in 3.3.0... Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
Luke 42083 Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 This is an issue with 3.3 causing it to require client cert validation. That doesn't sound like it is the same as this but it's always possible. In any event that is resolved for the next release, thanks.
jonesc2 1 Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 This appears to have just come back with the same symptoms anyone else having issues?

jonesc2 1 Posted March 23, 2018 Author Posted March 23, 2018 hi @@jonesc2, what exactly has come back? Same as everyone is reporting by the look: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/56784-emby-stops-responding-to-connections-every-couple-days/
Luke 42083 Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 @@jonesc2 i understand but I am looking for you to describe your issue in your own words, thanks.
jonesc2 1 Posted March 23, 2018 Author Posted March 23, 2018 @@jonesc2 i understand but I am looking for you to describe your issue in your own words, thanks. Hi Luke - Basically every few days the server will stop responding on the web interface on port 8920. Port 8096 still works fine, when I restart Emby the problem goes away, and comes back after a few days.
jonesc2 1 Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 What version of the server are you running?3.3.1.0
Luke 42083 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 If you'd like to try the beta server that would be helpful. Thanks.
