martinc666 2 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Basicly when I start video and switch to other it marks current one as watched, also if I stop video it also marks as watched. I have newest version of emby server and addon. Tested for stable and beta addon. Tested on different devices with newest version of kodi, same. Does anyone expirenced something similar?
martinc666 2 Posted February 17, 2018 Author Posted February 17, 2018 Seen this one, but beta add-on helped him, but not in my case.
Luke 42078 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 @@martinc666 i would suggest discussing an example and attaching the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks !

martinc666 2 Posted March 3, 2018 Author Posted March 3, 2018 Hey, Did you have chance to look at it? Or may be there is no solution for it?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 I'm checking your log right now. Thanks for bumping the thread, I missed your post
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Can you try this and let me know if it helps any? plugin.video.emby-3.0.14a.zip
martinc666 2 Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 I'm sorry, I didn't expected such fast response and must have missed email notification. Tested update but no change.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 (edited) Can you do me a favor and do a new test, without Kodi debug and provide a new log with the latest version? Thank you Edited March 11, 2018 by Angelblue05
martinc666 2 Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 Thank you for helping, really appreciate it. Log attached. Emby.txt
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Please provide your Kodi log, not your Emby server log.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) 1. Started 1st episode, jumped like 2 min.,paused, opened other episode -> runtime updated at server. 2. Started 2nd episode, also jumped like 2-3min,,paused, opened other episode -> runtime updated at server. 3. Started 3th episode, waited like few sec.,paused, opened other episode -> runtime didn't updated at server, episode marked as watched at server. 4. Started 4th episode, waited like 30 sec.,paused, opened other episode -> runtime didn't updated at server, episode marked as watched at server. 5. Started 5th episode, stopped -> episode marked as watched at server. 3 and 4. Runtime would not update regardless. It is too short to create a resume point. 3, 4 and 5. I don't think I can fix this. Kodi seems to trigger this event twice when playback ends. Not normal, curious. The second one is what's causing the item to get marked as watched on your server. EMBY.kodimonitor -> Method: VideoLibrary.OnUpdate Data: {"item":{"id":210,"type":"episode"}} If you stop playback instead of backing out, does it work correctly then? Edited March 12, 2018 by Angelblue05
martinc666 2 Posted March 12, 2018 Author Posted March 12, 2018 Yes, when I stop playback it's working now, no marked as watched. So there are no solution to avoid marked as watched, when switching videos? Just to be clear runtime update it's not an issue for me, I just described details. 1
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) I'll keep it in mind, but right now, no easy fix without causing harm in other places. I think perhaps the issue is the short resume point + the pause state when changing title... Something internal to Kodi must be causing this. Maybe if you mess around with the creation of the resume point in Kodi, you might be able to avoid this? https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_automatic_watch_and_resume_points Edited March 12, 2018 by Angelblue05
martinc666 2 Posted March 12, 2018 Author Posted March 12, 2018 Great idea to mess with resume point, but unfortunately it didn't help. Thanks again for looking into it.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Did you try this one? Does it make any difference? <advancedsettings> <video> <playcountminimumpercent>101</playcountminimumpercent> <ignorepercentatend>101</ignorepercentatend> </video></advancedsettings>
martinc666 2 Posted March 12, 2018 Author Posted March 12, 2018 Yes, tried similar and also yours no change.
