Arrow showing up, doesn't hide

So I've recently installed Emby Theater, but have noticed that the Windows arrow keeps showing up. I move it out of the screen, but then it will pop up again where I moved it out. It usually turns into a double-sided resizing arrow when at the edge of the screen. Is there a way to have the arrow hide itself when it's not being used? It's pretty distracting when watching a movie and I see part of the arrow on the edge of the screen, then have to pause the movie, get the mouse and move the arrow off the screen, only to have it appear again later. Thanks!

hi, if you make sure the arrow is on top of the UI, then it will hide automatically after several seconds of idle time. thanks.

 Actually I just put it the arrow at the top, but it's been sitting there for few minutes and hasn't hidden. When I play a movie, that arrow turns into a resize arrow. Then when I stop the movie and go back to the UI, it stays a as a double-sided resize arrow. When pressing mute on the remote, it seems to show the arrow again when playing a movie, overlaying overtop the resize arrow. Then sometimes, when it double-sided arrow is in the UI, then I play a movie, the only way to get rid of it is to press the mute button on the remote.

It doesn't matter where it's positioned it will always show up. Even when a movie is playing, I can move the arrow and hide it, but it will show up again. I have a suspicion that when Emby Theater is started using a mouse (clicking on the icon), it will continually show the mouse even in playback, so I'm going to restart the computer and have it automatically load to see if the arrow appears.

 

The weird thing is, when I hit the Mute on the remote, it hides. But then it comes back again if the movie is stopped or another video is played.

So it seems that when Emby Theater is launched using the mouse, the arrow stays in the program and doesn't hide. When Emby Theater is launched automatically with Windows Startup with no mouse or keyboard use, it loads without the arrow.

Hah, I did restart the computer and the Emby Theater app started automatically (I have it in startup) and the arrow is now gone. However, a new problem exists! now when I play videos the minimize, maximize and close (X) buttons appear in white on the top right-hand side of the screen, they don't hide. I'm not sure if this is related, so I've created another post as it's a new problem: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/54844-minimize-maximize-and-close-icons-showing-during-video-playback/
