@Luke: can you share some words about this please? We’re worried of the lack of answers on this topic...

@@Luke hey wanted to show you the hell it is to list movies in the movie list:

Every time I put my finger up it’s when I push the button. You can see how much time it takes...

Hey @@Luke this one has been here for too long now, and these days I know you were working on the OSD, so it’s a good time ensure also that navigation works the same way in all clients... [emoji120]

Still trying to get myself freed up for it. This is the type of task that will require me to go dark for several days and just get it done. That can be hard for me to do given all of the time i have to spend in the forum and helping users, but I am trying to get there.

I have the same issue.  My movie library is up to 9,900 films.  Emby is essentially unusable since navigating my movie library is extremely sluggish.  And I have decent hardware, including a four core i7 Kaby Lake processor, Nvidia GTX 1080, and my Emby server computer is hard connected to my client HTPC via gigabit ethernet.  In contrast, my TV show library, with only 309 title, is quick and responsive.

Would sure appreciate a pagination option soon.  Thanks.

You can't compare loading 9900 item to 309 items.  This should be resolved when ever we get virtual scrolling.  This is why the web client has paging 100 item page limits.  The web client would do the same things it you went into the js file and told it to load all of your items.

Yeah and ET desktop/windows app had always had this issue, and honestly don’t know why you guys never implemented the pagination in « all movie » view...

Hopefully and apparently the virtual scrolling is coming?! Thx for the info.

ET requires an update. If you're using the desktop app, try it now. The store app needs to be updated.
