Custom CSS For Browser Interface Only?

having fun playing with the custom css option however it only seems to effect the browser gui, not the app(s) interfaces, is this correct? if so, is there any way to style apps as well, for example the theater app for windows?

Yes that is correct. Emby Theater has a skinning system, and one day the two apps will merge and use this which will allow you to design your own UI. You can learn more here:
