Volume buttons dunnae work cap'n!

I'm on my Android phone, hacked to bits, Android 7.1.1, on a CM build (LineageOS now).

 

I connect the Emby app to my Chromecast Video (Gen 1), phone, chromecast device and Emby server all on the same IP range and broadcast domain.

 

Send content to the Chromecast/TV, video plays back. It's Red Dwarf, aww yeah!

 

I press the volume up or down, and it changes my ring volume, not volume of the video....

 

Looks like it's not working!

 

Server is on.... 3.2.20.0 updated as of... yesterday? And Auth is local.

In the other topic all you said was mobile app. You didn't say Chromecast.

D'oh! I just tested music playback on my phone without chromecast and wouldn't you know it the volume control adjusts the volume.

 

So... uhh.... what's the plan for volume control buttons with chromecast?
