EMBY crashing until I check and uncheck "use external player" option

When I play a movie EMBY will immediately close out on my android tablet.  After playing around with it for a while, I noticed that when I use and external player, which works fine, then uncheck the setting to use and external player EMBY will start working perfectly fine, I can launch any video I want.  Anyone know what going on?  Its kinda round about way to get it working but it works consistently like this. The only issue I have with streaming to an external player is that I don't have the option to seek in the video so I prefer to use the main app as this allows for that.
