Psyloh 0 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Hi guyz,I am setting up a dedicated jail for emby and so I would like to keep as low as possible on disk usage!I know that ffmpeg is the basis and that disabling/enabling any of its modules can weight heavy on emby's functionalities and effectiveness! But emby is also using image magick and sqlite for convenience..!I guess those 2 dependencies are barely used at 10% of their capabilities and I would like to know which modules are mandatory for emby to stay cool, so I could uncheck the others as I won't use sqlite nor image magick on that particular jail! For example, image magick default config includes jbig and jpeg support... I guess jpeg is required and jbig is not, if I am right... Openjpeg 2000 is checked too... Is this really useful? And so on...Thx a lot ;-)
Luke 42077 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Both are needed. We have not documented all of the ImageMagick libraries that are needed. I would suggest using our officially supported FreeBSD installation: https://emby.media/freebsd-server.html Thanks !
