Zekeman 11 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Ok I have 4 boxes in my house 3 (aftv) 1 (rpi) and they all have Kodi (two have Krypton and other 2 have kodi 15) and they don't always sync watched tv shows.... example.. can watch show on one box and it doesnt update on the other 3 boxes a watched I have to mark as watched, but it does remain watched on the original box... I have even setup a new box from scratch and it does the same.... I even forced sync to see if this would update the watched show and it does not.... any ideas? It's a pain to watch 4 shows on one box and then manually update the other boxes to mark as watched...

I assumed it only need to be installed on there and not the clients? Do I have to install this via emby's kodi repo too? I just started getting this issue a few weeks ago (even prior to the addon thinking it would fix it) no setup has changed or addons prior to change configuration.

The Emby for Kodi plugin is client side and needs to be on all of your clients.
mastrmind11 722 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Probably going to have to see a log from one of the clients that's not syncing properly. Out of curiosity, you said you "forced a sync"... do you mean you did a library refresh on the server, or do you mean you went into one of the Kodi clients that isn't syncing properly and forced a db refresh from the Emby addon?
