Numerous bugs during playback 2.8.34

Repro:

1. Pick movie to play that includes....

a. subtitles that automatically play 

b. previously downloaded for offline viewing

2. Play movie from last resumed time

3. Validate movie starts from beginning not last resumed time

4. Validate emby loading logo is superimposed during the entire play session

5. Attempt to turn off subtitles

a. Click Options

b. Click subtitles

6. Validate app crashes

I also have the superimposed emby logo that will not go away during playback.

I managed to get recorded TV to play by reducing the streaming bit rate to 1Mbps

Along with the embedded Emby logo, I am also have media playback issues on my phone (all appear to be direct streams).  This seems to happen about half the time on various video types.

What do I need to do to get rid of the Emby app icon stuck in the middle of the screen during all video playback? Not sure how this issue was not noticed before deployment of this build.

I just tested the Android Mobile (beta) 2.8.34 on my Huawei Mate 7 running android 5.1.1 and it plays back fine. No Emby icon visible during playback.

+1 for the logo getting stuck during playback. Have to close out of app completely and it goes away for one episode.

My Samsung Note 4 running Android 6 started to do the same thing on all my videos 

 

It used to play very nicely.

Uninstalled + re installed the app, Restarted the server, video is back to normal.... we will see..

 

and...

 

Now I'm getting random force close exception during playback

 

and...

 

Video is back like the above screenshot.

 

Going back to the release channel instead of beta..

 

Same on Release... noooooo
