Unity 1 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Hi, Some time ago I came across a problem where my liveTV recording folder was automatically being added as a library and the contents were being added as movies. I tried removing the folder from the libraries but it kept coming back. (dvblink addon) This was confirmed as a bug and was fixed in release 3.0.8000. Since then the problem still occurs, I have installed 3.0.8400, removed the recorded tv library, removed its contents at the file level, and reset the library on kodi and all seems good, but again as I record new TV shows the folder is added back the library and they are still being added as movies. I have gone through the settings and can't see what i am doing wrong. does anyone have any clues? Many thanks 1
Unity 1 Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Hi, They are appearing in Kodi under Recordings-Movies as shown below, this then seems to loads the contents into the local movie library on kodi however I have now got round the problem by stopping the user used by kodi having access to the recordings library. but these seems like a work around? Unity 1 Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 In libraries they appear in recordings :- in Movies as shown below they do not appear :-
Angelblue05 4132 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) @@Unity Is recording a mixed library? Is recording - tvshows empty? I don't see how what you are seeing is possible. We request from the server, using the media type. We say, emby, return Movies from recordings, then process them as movies. Then, we process Series from recordings. So the only explanation seems your recordings get the content type movies server-side at some point and maybe what you are seeing is leftover stuff from when it was first added to Kodi. If you run a manual sync, does it rectify the situation? Launch the emby add-on > manual sync Can you please provide your Kodi log capturing this issue? If you know in advanced when a recording will occur, enable the add-on log level to debug prior to it being processed by your server (addon settings > advanced tab > log level debug), then post your log. This will tell us exactly what is happening. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/ Edited November 6, 2016 by Angelblue05
